Dynami Mesa, by Kristi Fairchild

I was mentally drained: beat up, tired, and worn down from the season of life I was in. I was tossed and battered partially by the decisions I myself had made, and partially by events out of my control. I didn’t have the strength to get out of bed, or to make it through another day faking it: smiles, hollow jokes, affirming and lifting up others. Shoot, I didn’t even have the strength to try. I was empty and I knew it.

Have you ever been there?

The world around us tells us we should be able to dig inside and power through on our own strength. In fact, a really well known quote from Mahatma Gandhi says, “Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will.”

I respect the thought.

I especially respect Gandhi as a person and his successful campaign inspiring movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. But, his sentiment could not be more antithetical to what God tells us. In Ephesians 3, Paul talks to us about the power we have access to THROUGH GOD. He says, “out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power THROUGH HIS SPIRIT IN YOUR INNER BEING.” And, “to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask of or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

This is great news for us!!!

When we,”don’t feel like peopling,” or when we, “can’t even,” or when the season of life seems so completely unbearable…we don’t have to do it alone! We were built, created, to house his Spirit in us to provide the strength!!! Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

I didn’t need to stay in that terrible season of life for so long and neither do you!

Our ministry name is DyMe Ministries.

It comes from the words, “Dynami Mesa,” which literally translates to POWER WITHIN. We are saying we trust God’s word that says his Spirit in us has the strength and we have access to it. All we have to do is ask.

What are you struggling with today on your own? This is a crazy season of life!! Some of us and our friends are on the front lines, some are stuck at home, some are filing for unemployment and loans, some are having to relearn how to communicate with their family members, some are just over it…and tired…..Every. Single. One. Of. Us. Has. Access. To. God’s. Strength…get in his Word. Ask him to show you his glory. Ask him to give you his strength.

Kristi Fairchild, DyMe Ministries

DyMe Ministries is a new place to connect in a community setting. Our goal is to work in and with the community to help bridge the gap between faith and fitness. We want to encourage men and women of faith to use the power of Christ within them to gain courage to be who God created them to be, including taking care of themselves to better spread the gospel. We also want to inspire those who already have physical strength in fitness to learn about the God who loves them where they are and how they can use the physical power to pursue and unleash the power of God in their lives.
