Better for it

We may look at situations and think “that didn’t go down well” it may have been our fault, something we did…or it may have been completely on another person. We could spend years rehashing, rethinking, replaying it in our mind. We could regret and re-feel all of the frustration over and over again.

Or we could do something else. We could ask God to show what we need to learn from it. We could look at it with a goal of completion and ask what we could have done differently, regardless of whose “fault” it was. Then we can leave that situation a better person. We could walk into our future with the new knowledge and wisdom we have gained.

Better for it.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead
