Are we praying?
Are we praying? Really praying. Are we speaking the Word from our mouth? Are we calling the enemy out and standing our ground?
Are we praying for each other?
Because we need to pray for each other.
We need to have mercy, compassion and love for each other.
We need the presence of God.
We need to worship together. We need to sit in the presence of God and let it soak into every fiber of our being. That is the only way we will walk out this life thing without internal catastrophe.
Does that sound crazy? Have you not yet experienced internal catastrophe? You will. The things of this world make no sense. They take and they wound and they make no sense to our heart. But Jesus has promised, “I have overcome the world”.
There is hope, there is joy, there is peace. But only in Him. Only in His presence.
Luke 21 says, “people will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world”. …but it also says, “stand firm and you will win life”. What makes the difference? Read Luke 18 and you will see that it is persistent prayer.
Tenacious, relentless, unstoppable prayer.
Pray in the morning. Pray midday. Pray at night.
Pray alone. Pray for each other. Communication with God is life and breath.
Just pray.
And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
