Oh how I love this one! I don’t usually write out these scriptures here (because I want you to go look for them) but I’m writing this one!
Strength and honor are her clothing, and she can laugh at the time to come!!!
What??? So good!! Strength and honor?? I am clothed with strength and honor! That means that when people look at me THAT is what they see! My friend…YOU are clothed with strength and honor. Why? Because you are a virtuous woman! No? Not you? You’ve done too much? Then what was Jesus’ death for? Oh, you think it was just so you could get into heaven? No. I mean, yes, it does get us into heaven. But that is not all. Unbelievably, amazingly, overwhelmingly, that is not all. He came to give us an abundant life. A life full of joy, peace, and goodness…right here…right now. He died to make you the righteousness of God, in Christ Jesus. So stop dragging your ugly past around with you. Decide today that you are only going to look at the future He has planned for you. He makes you strong, He gives you honor. Not because of who you are or what you do…but because of who HE is and what HE has done for you. Decide that you are going to read the Word, believe the Word, apply the Word to your life today.
So, do it girl. Put on strength and honor today. Wear them with God-confidence. If you need to put on your boots so you can feel it – – do it! Wear the strength and honor He died for you to have. And then laugh. This is my favorite part! Laugh at the future ahead of you. Laugh knowing His plans for you are good and that you and your boots are walking straight into them. No dread here. No dread of what will happen tomorrow. Because even if trouble comes there is still good out ahead of that. His Word says so! Walk in the power and authority of His Word!

Jesus, thank you for providing for me a life I could never have dreamed. Thank you for making me whole and pure. Thank you for loving me like that. I don’t deserve it, yet You do. As I study your Word would you show me how to live it? Would You help me be more like the person You made me to be? I want to live the power and authority You gave me. In Your mighty name, amen.
Be Still –
Now just sit quietly with God, think about the scripture you read, re-read it if need be. Spend the rest of the 15 minutes just being with God.
